Remembering Glenn

Glenn had an incredible Zest for Life! He loved life, he loved sports and he loved to have fun! His last week of life was spent doing all of those things! I know that we all have so many memories to share and I would love to hear them. I want to take this opportunity to share some of these memories with our boys and remember forever.

This picture was taken the day before he left us.
The smile on his face shows just how happy he was...

  1. I was fortunate enough to have met Glenn when we both worked at Ferguson Enterprises after we got out of school. I really enjoyed my years of working with Glenn and getting to call him my friend. As I have told Rochelle, I have many wonderful memories of my time at FEI with Glenn. When I think of him now, I can vividly see him in my mind with a big smile on his face and I can hear his ‘larger than life’ laugh. And I picture him sitting in my office as we sat and chatted about what was going on in our lives and what was going on at work… just the everyday discussions were interesting and meaningful with him. When he smiled and laughed, it always made me smile and laugh as well… and that could often be a hard task when we were at work at 7:00 AM in the morning! I pray that his boys learn what an amazing life their dad had. He touched so many people’s lives forever; and made those that knew him and called him friend better people because of his friendship. What a testament to the wonderful, but far too short, life he has lived. I pray that Rochelle, Jack, and Britt can find peace, strength, and love from all of those who love them and who love Glenn.

  2. From Bill and Kathy Stackhouse:

Glenn has always been a part of our family and life. The days on Old Lake Road provided many memories - a young chebibic face, boyhood pranks like pushing Bobby into the frog pond, playing Halloween "tricks", house sitting for us when we were gone and we did not know he was housesitting (more like having a party), having a great time with his friends skiing, boating, playing in the woods behind the house, picnics, and bon fires on the beach. How about that time he was driving into the driveway when he was too young to even be driving and ran into the tree?? Oh - we could go on and on. We were blessed to share so many important moments in his life and were proud of the man he became, a loving husband and father, and dedicated brother and son. We are forever thankful we have had Glenn be a part of our family and we will continue to laugh and delight in the many gifts he gave us - our memories. With love..... from his "other" family
